OUR STORY
Hi, I’m Rhonda, founder of Linda’s Mixx — a clean beauty brand inspired by my mother’s unwavering belief in me and my love for helping people feel beautiful in the hair they were born with.
As a hairstylist, I’ve worked with every hair type imaginable. But in my own home, I saw the full spectrum: from my mom’s silky fine curls to tightly coiled strands. That diversity shaped my mission — to create products that celebrate all textures, not just one.
Linda’s Mixx was born from a desire to blend clean, gentle ingredients with real performance — no sulfates, no harsh chemicals, no compromises.
Truthfully, there were moments I almost gave up. Product after product didn’t work the way I envisioned. The cost of reformulating, testing, and staying true to my clean beauty promise was overwhelming.
But my mom always said, “If anyone can do it, you can.” And that voice kept me going.
Linda’s Mixx is proof that we don’t have to settle.
We can care for our curls, coils, and waves — and our sensitive skin — with something better.
Is This Ingredient a Silicone?
Nope! Our formula uses Natrasil™, a plant-based alternative to silicones. On the label, you’ll see it listed as C13-15 Alkane (and) Cocoyl Hydrolyzed Elastin. It’s made from renewable sugarcane and coconut to give you slip and shine — without any synthetic silicones.
Will This Still Give Me Slip & Shine?
Yes! That’s why we love Natrasil. It mimics the silky glide and glossy look of silicones, making it easier to detangle and define your curls — without buildup or dullness.
Why Don’t You Use Traditional Silicones?
Silicones like dimethicone can build up on your hair over time, blocking hydration and making curls feel heavy. They also aren’t biodegradable. Our Natrasil is completely silicone-free, 100% plant-derived, and eco-friendly, so it’s safer for your curls and kinder to the planet.
